We aim to develop long-term relationships with our clients, to understand their businesses and tailor our services to their unique requirements. Our Clients

Emeg is a railway M&E engineering services provider and offers a range of depot and office design, construction, infrastructure and service products. Our focus is on client-oriented and tailor-made solutions for light rail, main-line and freight line railways.

       

Howdon Satellite Depot

With the existing Nexus Metro depot at Gosforth, North Tyneside undergoing redevelopment works, Howdon needed to be brought online as an additional depot facility quickly and safely.

Plymouth Laira Depot

Laira TMD is a railway Traction Maintenance Depot situated in Plymouth, Devon, operated by Great Western Railway (GWR).

Blackpool Depot

This project involved the replacement of existing depot services including sanding, CET, Carriage Wash Machine & tanking water to the new servicing aprons.

Blackburn Depot

The Northern Hub programme was developed to increase capacity, line speed & connectivity throughout the North West. Blackburn is a new depot introduced to accommodate the additional rolling stock.

Bombardier Transport V-Shop

A new 10,000m² facility for Bombardier Transportation in Derby to enable the final test and sale of trains for the Crossrail project.

Euston Station Remodel

The project consisted of the provision of new; and the refurbishment of existing retail spaces at Euston Station.

Northampton Castle Station Redevelopment

A new ‘gateway’ station building and footbridge has been constructed to replace the existing station along with associated works including the demolition of the existing station.

Wakefield Westgate Station Redevelopment

The station comprises of a new station building, forecourt, road access and drop off and collection areas, a new passenger footbridge forms part of the town’s Westgate Key Development Area Redevelopment.

Fuelling Facility – Croft Street, Preston Depot

The Northern Hub programme was developed to increase capacity, line speed and connectivity throughout the North West of England. Croft Street Depot, Preston is one of the f our Network Rail owned depots to be upgraded and have fuelling system installed

Northern Hub Electrification – Allerton Depot

Allerton is one of the four Network Rail owned depots to be upgraded and have OLE reinstated in order to facilitate the maintenance of the additional electric rolling stock.

Leyland Carriage Sidings

Leyland Carriage sidings is one if the f our Network Rail owned depots to be upgraded in order to facilitate the maintenance and servicing of the additional rolling stock.

Neville Hill Depot

The project consisted of the removal & replacement of electrical distribution equipment & cabling relating to the existing 850V Shore Supply installation

Etches Park Depot – New Refuelling System

The system included both rail and road off-loading systems, 400,000 litres of new fuel storage, a new fuel pump room, a new fully automatic control system, new dispensing lines connected to both existing and new fuel dispensers.
