Please join us in welcoming Dominic Hobson to the Emeg Group as our new Operations Director (UK). Dominic will be taking over the leadership of UK Operations & Manufacturing from me as I will shortly be relocating to lead our international business operations from our overseas headquarters in Dubai.
Dominic will report directly to our Group Managing Director & CEO, Richard Simmonite.
Dom started his career as an Apprentice Mechanical Gas Engineer and has worked his way quickly through the ranks, progressing through roles including Lead Engineer, Project Manager and Contracts Manager, with his final position before joining Emeg being Technical Director.
He has led and grown the Small Works and FM team from a team of 3 to 60+ engineers and staff within 7 years. His and his team’s success has come from word-of-mouth recommendations and a reputation of service excellence by going the ‘extra mile’ for clients.
Dom is a hands-on leader who takes personal accountability for and pride in the company’s performance and ability to deliver projects, with a heavy focus on a true ‘One Team’ approach. He is also passionate about nurturing graduates and apprentices to realise their full potential.
Outside of work, Dom is a keen Derby County fan and is also known to enjoy a round of golf.
